Description:

Our client is a global leader in consumer products with a large Manufacturing site in Tijuana, Mexico. They seek a Controller to oversee all finance analysis and planning, standard cost accounting, accounting (US/MX), Mexico taxes, legal and regulatory compliance, and payroll. Will report to a Director of Finance in the USA.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years controller or similar experience in a large manufacturing environment in Mexico. IMMEX or maquiladora experience preferred.
• Expert level experience in standard cost accounting, budgets, and forecasting.
• Familiar with customs.
• Knowledge of ERP programs.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance or Similar.
• Ideal candidate will be very self-confident, assertive and results oriented with strong leadership skills.
• Able to grow one level above.
