The Oil and Gas Business Development Manager will focus on developing business in the Oil, Gas and Chemical related markets for a given territory for all of the company's engineered products and solutions by calling on consultants, owners, EPC firms, E&C, Design Construct, and contractors and supporting the local company's distributors.  

 

To develop large A/E, E&C, EPC, Design Construct, and Owner accounts with business activities globally focused. Accounts such as the Nationalized Oil Companies, Bechtel, KBR, SNC, Fluor, BP, Chevron, Dow, DuPont, etc. will be primary targets. Development of these accounts will include establishing initial meetings, focusing on the engineering integrity of the company's System, and the constructability advantages through the use of the company's products and services.

 

Qualifications (education, experience, personal attributes):

 

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year institution. Bachelor of Science degree with concentration in, engineering, construction or business management is preferred.
  • 10-15 years of work experience with at least a minimum of two-four years of successful sales experience within the Oil, Gas and Chemical markets to include experience developing  large EPC’s, E&C,  A/E’s, Design Construct, Industrial Contractors and Owner accounts.
  • A demonstrated knowledge of Oil, Gas and Chemical industry processes, industry standards and requirements.
  • Understanding and appreciation of Total Installed Costs, construction schedules and risk assessment as related to industrial construction and product installation.
  • Familiarity with estimating, bid proposals, generation, submission, negotiations and project follow through.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business from a value added perspective through generation of sales leads, presentations, and follow up.
  • Strong communication skills including oral presentations, written documentation and computer proficiency.
  • Willingness to do routine overnight travel.
  • Possess strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Multi lingual – native language (Portuguese) and English.
