Position’s Responsibilities:
· Responsible to manage the value stream (FF) from the incoming inspection process to final customer
· Implement standardized practices for continuous improvement, creating and leading a strategy plan to meet future process state
· Communicate clearly at various levels of the organization (Internal and External) written and verbally in an objective way
· Promotes communication and integration among team members
· Interface with manufacturing engineering, quality assurance and customer service to plan inventory and ensure production goals are met
· Estimate costs, forecast capacity and prepare production schedules
· Manage risks and customers special requirements through Interaction, leading, consensus and creating agreements with support departments
· Understand voice of business and create strategies within its FF Team to accomplish them
· Create operational budget as well as adherence to financial indicators
· Integrate Capital Investment according to FF needs and ROI corporate policies
· Lead the PDCA process as the tool for continuous improvement to achieve key performance indicators
· Strong project management skills
· Maintain a Focus, Disciplined, Respectful and Committed working environment
· Accountable for financial and operational results
· Ensures the effectiveness and follow up of Medical regulations (FDA, GMP and ISO) as well as Safety and Labor Law (Mexican and US) such as OSHA and STPS
· Develop a succession plan, developing and coaching his FF Team members
· Execute/Accomplish performance appraisals, follow up improvement plans when considered necessary
· Strong working knowledge of world-class principles, lean and 6-Sigma techniques, their application and implementation
· Strong negotiation skills, be able to create and sell a project
· Control KPI?s results based on four drivers and active strategy
· Coaching and leading proactive actions to create execution excellence through ownership
Requirements:
· More than 5 Yrs of experience in Industrial Manufacturing environment (Operations manager)
· Must have medical devices manufacturing experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering
· Fully Bilingual in English/Spanish
