· At least 4-6 years of experience in product and manufacturing engineering. Will consider Sr Engineers ready for a promotion. Management experience a plus.
· Must have experience with manufacturing of rubber seals and preferably diaphragms.
· Solid background with product transfers. The ability to develop and communicate process specifications and improvements throughout all areas of manufacturing and handle new product implementation from design to full production is essential.
· Experience with Lean Manufacturing is a definite bonus.
· Knowledge of product, materials, operations, and tooling required.
· Familiarity with advanced design tools, able to read blueprints, and knowledge of ISO9001.
· Familiar with rubber compounding (black rubber) and / or silicon is a bonus.
· Bachelor degree in engineering, preferably BSME or equivalent experience.
· Fluent with English and Spanish strongly preferred.
· Will be flexible, a team player, have excellent communication skills, organization skills, and able to meet tight deadlines.
· Must be able to grow one level above this position.
