Description:

Our client is a major global leader in connectors and harnesses manufacturing and they seek a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the quality team in its Santa Ana, California manufacturing plant.  Quality Manager will supervise 2 quality supervisors, 4 quality engineers, and several technicians and will be challenged with implementing a more robust Quality System (AS-9100), strengthening quality in process, product quality and hiring, training and developing a high performing working group.  QA Manager will also be given responsibility for developing strong customer relations with client base mostly in the aerospace sector.  Position reports to Director of Operations in the USA.

Requirements:

·         Must have at least 4 years of experience as Quality Assurance Manager and over 10 years manufacturing background

·         Solid lean manufacturing background required. Must have quality experience with process, product and systems

·         Connectors and/or harness experience required.

·         Aerospace industry experience and knowledge of AS-9100 is preferred.

·         Spanish Proficiency desirable.

·         Bachelor degree required. Master degree preferred

·         Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.

·         Candidate must be results oriented, assertive, self-motivated and with a proven track record of developing high performing work teams.

·         Must have U.S. legal work status.  Prefer local candidates in Southern California.
