Description:
This position is responsible for leading the Product Support function while facilitating communication between the different company groups. Ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and monitoring product support, quality processes and systems. This position is also responsible for partnering with the engineering team and design control owner responsible for legacy machine support and parts releasing.
Responsibilities:
· Managing District Product Support Managers in all of the Americas
· Responsibility for managing all Warranty Expenses for all products
· Responsible for developing all technical bulletins and technical documents
· Plays a key role in working and communicating with many functional areas
· Key Role in directly communicating with key contacts
· This position plays an active role on a number of teams on a monthly basis
· This role manages website inquiries/complaints/issues with respect to product support
· This position helps manage all product support related issues with existing and future NPI’s
· This position helps manage all Technical Training functions
· Important role/position that will continue to help drive the company’s success
Requirements:
· B.S. Degree in ME or other related fields.
· 7 to ten years' progressive experience in providing product technical support, product engineering and product development management for a dealer network in the construction equipment industry
· Demonstrated capability to lead and develop a field based, technical team desired
· Experience working with dealers
· Strong Technical and Business Writing
· Experience should be in heavy equipment design used in construction and industrial sector of the market
· Broad knowledge of product and process engineering
· Must exhibit skills in leadership, project management, strategic planning, systems engineering, decision making, customer relations, marketing, team development, and facilitating.
