Salary Ranges

Determining salary ranges for your specific location may be affected by many factors including company size, benefits, location within Mexico, educational requirements, local unemployment rates, specific industry, etc.

If you require a more precise Salary Range for any professional level position in Mexico or you wish to have a BIP expert determine competitive compensation packages, please call Barbachano International at (619) 427-2310.

The Data

The 2009 Salary Guide from Barbachano International, Inc. is designed to help you determine appropriate compensation for your professional positions in the Maquiladora or manufacturing industry in Mexico. The data presented in the guide has been carefully researched by our staff, based on thousands of screens, candidate and client salary data, as well as job placements throughout Mexico. However, this data is not scientific and for some position titles is based on limited data.

The salaries have been compiled resulting in ranges from low –mid -high in US Dollars. A current exchange rate of $13.25 Pesos per $1 US dollar has been applied. The average plant size surveyed is 268 employees and the data is based primarily on Zone A cities. Zone B and Zone C salary ranges must be adjusted as these zones' typical cost of living is generally 10 to 25% lower. The data includes yearly salary only and does not include bonuses, commissions, or other benefits. All salaries are in U.S. dollar denominations and are rounded to the nearest hundred.
