Planning & Inventory Supervisor

THE POSITION

We are searching for a Planning/Inventory Supervisor to lead the capture, planning and forecast of customer demand, and inventory optimization.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage and troubleshoot EDI and MRP system integrations (QAD preferred).
• Translate customer forecasts into executable production plans.
• Monitor inventory KPIs, lead reduction initiatives, and prevent stockouts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing engineering, production, supply chain, and IT.
• Support engineering changes and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy.
• This is a role with strong visibility on the production floor (40%) and requires high proficiency in Excel, demand planning analytics, and fast-paced decision-making.
• With an exceptional Customer Service demeanor.

THE CANDIDATE

• A bilingual (Spanish/English) supply chain or operations professional with at least 5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Proficient in QAD or similar MRP/ERP systems with hands-on EDI knowledge.
• Comfortable working under pressure in high-demand, fast-paced environments.
• Analytical, organized, and effective communicator across departments.
• Certified in APICS/CPIM (a plus) and experienced in leading or supervising teams.
• Familiar with plastic molded parts, BOMs, and lean principles like Kanban.
