THE JOB

Job Description:

We have been retained by a world-class packaging solutions company, leader on their industry all over North, Central America and the Caribbean to acquire a Country Sales Manager (USA). The individual will accelerate profitable growth by leveraging the combined strengths of verticals, distributors and end users in the territory. The Sales Manager can be based anywhere in the USA and work virtually from home office; could be out of Texas, California, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Illinois or anywhere in the USA.

THE POSITION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve customers during visits, phone calls and via email.
  • Preparation and monitoring of quotes.
  • Take orders from customers.
  • Definition and monitoring of prospective clients based on meeting the objective.
  • Stay in compliance with sales budget.
  • Management of accounts receivable.
  • Analyze sales indicators, visas, visits, late payments, in order to detect deviations.
  • Increase client portfolio and continuous follow-up of the current one.
  • Request manufacturing and close the design and development cycle.
  • Seek to place the sale of more products within the same customers (breadth and depth).
  • Compliance with visits to its customers according to its ABCD portfolio.
  • Execution of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Complete and deliver customer logs for administration with the BackOffice team.
  • Pre and post-sales attention to customers.
  • Customer advice to optimize the use of a product.
  • Have control over customer inventories as part of customer service.
  • Comply with the ISO 9000 sales procedures: taking orders from customers, communicating with customers, handling claims, order visas, processes related to customers and sales budget.

Shared Responsibilities with Other Roles:

  • Customer service executive: support to sellers and execution of sales activities.
  • Information support (orders, dispatches, portfolio).
  • Sales coordinator: support in sales management, problem solving, claims and support in the sales system.
  • Sales manager: delivery of reports and sales objectives, accounts receivable, consultation of special prices.
  • Production planner: request for delivery dates, season planning and order entry to special customers.
  • Production plant manager: Technical sales support.

Sales Compliance by Seller:

  • Compliance with the sales budget.
  • Sale against payment.
  • Visas.
  • Late payment.
  • Visits.

THE CANDIDATE

  • Ability to effectively communicate information.

Education/Formation:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business. Administration; Chemical, Industrial or Plastics Engineer.
  • MBA, Masters Degree (Desirable).
  • 100% of Written and Verbal English Comprehension.
  • Flexography, plastics, injection, extrusion.
  • SAP Knowledge.

Experience/Success Factors:

  • Minimum of 3 years in plastic packaging sales.
  • Availability to constantly travel to the USA.
