They are seeking a Tax Manager to lead corporate tax strategies, ensure compliance with Mexican tax regulations, and optimize financial planning. This role is critical in maintaining a low tax burden while advising senior leadership on key financial decisions.

THE POSITION

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop corporate tax policies and filing standards.
• Design tax strategies to maximize benefits and minimize liabilities.
• Oversee tax registrations, filings, and refunds.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican tax laws and liaise with SAT authorities.
• Provide tax guidance on business operations and investments.
• Manage and mentor the tax team, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Conduct internal audits and financial risk assessments.

THE CANDIDATE

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in tax management within Mexican companies.
• Strong knowledge of Mexico’s latest tax laws and compliance standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Previous CPA Firm experience a plus.
