Finance Manager

THE COMPANY

Our client is company with global presence that is rapidly growing specialized in design and manufacturing of packaging products for several industries including retail, apparel and others. This company is driven by incorporating technology into development of sustainable packaging and labeling solutions. They have operations in Asia, America and Europe and customers include global brands and retailers.

THE POSITION

Financial Reporting – Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting – Collaborate with department heads, Plant Manager and General Manager to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor and report on budget variances, providing recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
Compliance and Risk Management – Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing controls as necessary.
Process Improvement – Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Implement best practices to streamline accounting operations.
Team Leadership – Lead and mentor a team of three accounting support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Provide guidance on day-to-day tasks and contribute to the professional development of team members.

THE CANDIDATE

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferred.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
