Each solution is custom engineered to provide optimum efficiency, reliability and productivity and backed by comprehensive aftermarket services. Our firm has been engaged in searching for a Plant Manager to be located in Quad Cities.
THE POSITION
The Plant Manager assumes overall responsibility for improving performance in safety, productivity, delivery, as well as financial P&L, and production quality. The Plant Manager is also responsible for continuously improve processes through CI activities, lean initiatives, employee involvement, drive and monitor the KPIs.
Leadership
- Will coordinate resources to satisfy both internal and external customers; to deliver superior products and quality service in a fast-paced environment that meets or exceeds the customer’s expectations
- Oversees and directs all operations departments including Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Customer Service and Manufacturing Engineering; directs operations personnel in optimization of plant facilities and assigns maintenance priorities
- Promotes the utilization of statistical and process visual measurements to manage the operation and deliver customer satisfaction and world class quality
Financial Responsibility
- Responsible for P&L Statements, and daily reports to ensure continued growth in productivity and efficiency, with demonstrated ability to drive product margin and overall profitability, is preferred
- Work within and create new proposals for accurate workforce planning, operating expense, and capital expenditure budgets
Continuous Improvement (CI)
- Supports the implementation and training of CI principles within a production
- environment. Implements best practices and improvements that have been identified by the Company, leadership, and employees
- Champions process improvement and lean manufacturing activities; oversees the implementation of best practices across manufacturing operations
THE CANDIDATE
- The ideal candidate possesses the following experience, skills, and abilities:
- A high-performance and strategically inspired, passionate business leader with proven experience leading full, operational P&L responsibility and experience within a multi-layer, long lead-time manufacturing environment
- A broad technical background, across a wide range of end-markets and technologies
- A team player who displays self-accountability and can demonstrate the Company’s core values
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and/or equivalent work experience required
- 5+ years of management experience
- Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred
- Experience with ISO or TS quality standards
