The organization is experiencing continued growth and is seeking a commercially driven sales leader capable of operating at both strategic and executive levels while building long-term partnerships with multinational organizations investing in the United States and Mexico.
THE POSITION
The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading all facets of sales and account management strategy for a strategic business segment, including both existing accounts and new business development opportunities. The position will focus on building executive-level credibility with multinational OEMs whose sourcing and investment initiatives are centered in the United States and Mexico.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and growing existing global client relationships and business levels
- Identifying and securing new strategic business opportunities within assigned markets and accounts
- Developing and executing strategic sales and account management plans
- Collaborating closely with Global Business Development Managers on customer-focused commercial strategies
- Building long-term relationships with prospective OEM clients and strategic accounts
- Leading solution-based proposals by coordinating with executive leadership, manufacturing, tooling, automation, supply chain, raw materials, and project management teams
- Participating in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue planning activities
- Managing and updating sales pipeline activities and program status
- Monitoring customer satisfaction and implementing improvement strategies
- Leading client-related projects and communicating progress to executive leadership
- Facilitating project kick-off meetings and ensuring alignment around schedules, deliverables, and customer expectations
- Serving as the “Voice of the Customer” internally to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is a highly strategic and relationship-oriented sales executive with experience managing complex OEM accounts and driving profitable business growth within manufacturing environments. This individual must be comfortable operating with senior corporate leadership teams while simultaneously engaging cross-functional operational groups to deliver customer-focused solutions.
The successful candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, strategic planning capabilities, and the ability to translate customer needs into scalable manufacturing and supply chain solutions. This role requires someone with excellent communication and presentation skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to navigate both U.S. and Mexico business environments effectively.
The ideal profile includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Strong customer orientation with a solution-driven mindset
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- 15 yrs. Experience with multinational OEMs and strategic account management
- Strong foundation in business development, strategic planning, and market analysis
- Financial and commercial acumen including forecasting, budgeting, quoting, and profitability analysis
- Experience with project management, supply chain coordination, and timelines
- Knowledge of contract review including supplier, quality, and NDA agreements
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- GMP manufacturing experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Ability to work within any border city between Texas and Mexico
