Manages multiple accounting functions and operations such as FP&A, planing, forecasting, general ledger, revenue, asset, cost, and tax accounting. Implements accounting policies and procedures that adhere to governmental financial and tax regulations and comply with GAAP and IFRS standards. Oversees monthly accounting close processes and reporting. Prepares forecasts and analysis of trends, sales, expenses.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance & accounting team and month-end closing process.
- Ensure that all monthly account reconciliations are completed timely and accurately.
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data to produce financial reports or statements.
- Prepare annual budget and monthly forecasts.
- Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports.
- Oversee SOX compliance and internal financial controls.
- Identify potential areas of opportunity and risk to improve procedures, providing solutions for business.
- Assists and supports the Controller in preparation of internal or external audits.
- Prepare summaries, reports, and recommendations where necessary.
- Perform other duties as required.
THE CANDIDATE
Requirements and Skills:
- CPA or similar accounting bachelor’s degree is a must.
- 5 years of work experience as a Finance Manager.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing internal controls and Auditing actions plans.
- Conversational Fluency in English.
- At least 5 years’ experience as a supervisor in an finace team.
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Understanding of IFRS Principles and concepts.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
